Man offers his pregnant sister-in-law a free stroller, but when she insists on taking the more expensive one, he and his wife refuse, planning to keep it for future children, sparking tension that causes him to revoke offer: 'My in-laws are on her side'

Giving someone a gift is always considered generous, no matter how big or how small... This man offered his sister-in-law one of their old strollers that the kids had grown out of, for free. A gift that could save them a generous sum of money. However, when his SIL responds, demanding they give her the evidently nicer, more expensive stroller, they are left speechless at her entitlement. The couple may want to have more children and have chosen to keep that stroller as a result…But this woman just seems unable to take no for an answer…labelling the couple as cheap and selfish, words there initial actions were most definitely not!

Some could argue that giving her the better stroller is a gift of the present, while they debate the what-ifs of the future. If they decide not to have any more kids, then no one gets the stroller! That may seem unfair and like a bit of a waste, but it is their stroller, so it is their decision to make! However, after this SIL's breakdown regarding their 'lack of generosity', we're not so sure this husband is even eager enough to stand on the first offer!

  • The thing is! It seems as though his in-laws are taking her side and not that of him or his wife's…This is going to be a rather awkward Sunday barbecue. The girl's parents agree that it would be an utter waste not to gift the soon-to-be parents with a better stroller.   • Not “Giving” my SIL the stroller

    I (37M) am being criticized by my In Laws for not "giving" my SIL (38F) and her husband the stroller she want.
